Proper Job / Use in your chat
Building budgets.
Built by builders.
Connect Proper Job to ChatGPT, Claude or a compatible chat. Your assistant helps fill in the project details. Proper Job calculates a free Guide Price using builders’ experience and researched local costs.
Developed and operated by SR3H Ltd.
Three simple steps.
- Connect once. Add Proper Job to your chat using the connection details below.
- Describe your work. Say where, roughly how big and what you want done. Your assistant asks what’s missing.
- Compare and refine. Get a price range and breakdown in local currency. Change the finish or scope and ask Proper Job to recalculate.
Try asking: “Use Proper Job to budget a 30 m² rear extension in the South East, UK.”
Proper JobExample Guide Price30 m² rear extension
£76,000–£99,000
Includes illustrative 20% VAT · South East, UK
Standard finish · balanced scope
An example budget, not a quote. Design, access and site conditions can change the price.
See the example scopeThen ask: “Compare Budget and Premium. What’s included, and what needs a separate price?”
Why the details matter.
A price per m² is only a starting point. A kitchen refresh and a full refit with new plumbing need different budgets at the same size. Access, structural work, heating and cooling, materials and finishes change the cost. Mention specialist finishes or smart-home systems to check what needs a separate price.
Choose Budget, Standard, Premium or Luxury. Leave unknown details open and refine the budget later.
